LRP K9 Launches New Website
The Little Rock Police K9 Association is proud to welcome visitors to their new website. "The K9 teams have undergone some changes since the last update, and we felt it was time to give some love to our website as well," said Officer Jim Tankersley. "We wanted something that would allow the public to share in our love of the dogs who serve without complaint in the demanding field of law enforcement," he added.
There will be lots of information on the new site -- informational bios about each of the K9 units, training tips & tricks for the public, seasonal events, as well as news, awards, and highlights from on-the-job scenarios where the K9 units were critical to the successful apprehension of suspects.
"We hope that the new website will allow the public to get a sense of who we are, and how hard the police dogs work to make Little Rock a safe place to live," said Officer Tankersley.
